Calcium carbonate mines in Aligudarz-Ezna contain significant reserves of high-quality calcium carbonate rocks. These reserves are used as the primary source for the production of high-purity calcium carbonate powder.

Due to its rich mineral resources and access to transportation infrastructure, this region is considered an ideal place for the extraction and processing of calcium carbonate rocks. Travertine and marble mineral products extracted from the mines of this region are considered the most famous types of these products in Iran.
